UK-based prepaid online payment services provider Ukash has entered an agreement with SRD to make its e-vouchers available at 2,250 points of sale, in addition to the 15,000 point of sale terminals operated by la SAF.
As a result of this partnership, a paper voucher will be issued at point of purchase, found in tobacconists, newsagents and callshops across France, with a code that is redeemable at any website where Ukash is accepted and can be combined, split or converted.
In France, Ukash vouchers are available for purchase wherever the Ukash logo is featured in shops and other terminals. Consumers can purchase the printed vouchers with cash in amounts of EUR 10, EUR 20, EUR 50, EUR 100 and EUR 200.
Ukash vouchers are available through payment terminals in retail outlets across Europe, South Africa, South America, Canada and Australia and are also issued online from the company’s website in selected European territories.
In March 2009, Ukash partnered French telecom operator Central Telecom to make the Ukash vouchers available through Central Telecom's Tonéo prepaid card sold in locations across France.
