WHSmith, PayPoint.net expand payment processing deal Friday 18 March 2011 | 09:40 AM CET

UK retailer WHSmith has extended its contract with the online payment services provider PayPoint.net for another three years.

The three-year renewal will enable PayPoint.net to continue providing online payment services to the retailer’s online store, www.whsmith.co.uk. PayPoint.net enables WHSmith to incorporate the former’s reporting and reconciliation functionality into its existing technology. PayPoint.net and WHSmith.co.uk entered partnership in 2007 when the latter’s website was re-launched.

PayPoint.net is a division of PayPoint, a company which provides electronic payments collection terminals for clients in the UK, the Republic of Ireland and Romania. It offers internet payments services, including credit and debit card payments for web merchants.
