Lafayette Federal Credit Union live on SAS banking platform Wednesday 18 August 2010 | 10:30 AM CET

US-based financial services provider Lafayette Federal Credit Union (LFCU) has partnered with SAS, a provider of business analytics software and services.

Under the terms of the contract, LFCU will deploy the SAS-powered Banking Intelligence Architecture platform in order to gain access to data integration, business intelligence and daily reporting capabilities on an integrated environment.

The SAS platform is also set to provide LFCU with management information via daily automatic financial reports; the platform also allows LFCU to analyze volumes of transactional data for trends and patterns, creating new reporting possibilities. Finally, the organization is expected to gain a new method for organizing product offerings as well as a new way to code business rules.

Established in 1935, Lafayette Federal Credit Union activates in the savings and loan banking segments on the US territory.
