Panini, a global developer of cheque deposit capture products, has entered a partnership with US-based financial services provider US Bank, a subsidiary of US Bancorp.

Under the terms of the deal, Panini is set to provide the latter’s small business customers with its I:Deal cheque scanner for remote deposit capture (RDC) capabilities. The RDC product features functionalities such as dual-sided image capture, document franking and reading technologies in the areas of Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) and (Optical character recognition) OCR.

Founded in Italy, Panini provides cheque deposit capture products for an array of distributed cheque processing fields such as teller capture, back-counter capture, remote deposit capture and remittance processing.
