China: Ping An Bank selects Oracle FLEXCUBE core banking platform Monday 16 January 2012 | 11:58 AM CET

Chinese financial services provider Ping An Bank, a division of Ping An Group, has selected Global developer of business software and hardware systems Oracle for its Oracle FLEXCUBE core banking platform.

Oracle FLEXCUBE is set to be integrated with Ping An Group's IT platform to enable cross-selling to customers, reduce the time spent on product development and allow bank users to update and amend product offerings.

In October 2011, Oracle entered an agreement to purchase Endeca Technologies, a provider of unstructured data management, web commerce and business intelligence solutions.
