First Data Processing Center in Lithuania, a subsidiary of First Data, has expanded the use of the TranzWare Interchange products offered by Compass Plus, a US-based provider of electronic funds transfer technology.

First Data Lietuva will integrate the Compass Plus TranzWare Interchange with its third-party processing service and convert clearing formats to those of international payments systems. The integration is also set to ensure direct communication with Visa and MasterCard and mobility between internal formats, those of the card companies and their bank customers.

First Data provides electronic commerce and payment services for merchants, financial institutions and card issuers globally and has operations in 36 countries, serving over 5.3 million merchant locations and over 2,000 card issuers and their customers.
