Sage Pay acquires Integral Computers Wednesday 8 February 2012 | 12:55 PM CET

UK-based payment services provider Sage Pay has acquired European cardholder services provider Integral Computers for EUR 20 million.

As a result of the acquisition, Integral will be rebranded as Sage Pay and will be completely integrated into the Sage Pay business. All of Integral’s employees will work for Sage Pay. Additionally, Sage Pay will be able to provide its customers with multi-channel payment services, allowing them to accept card payments online, in-store, at trade shows or on market stalls. Sage Pay will also be able to provide one single relationship to support bundled payment services to small and medium sized enterprises.

Integral Computers has been launched in 1989 and its services are used at more than 25,000 points of sale across the UK and Ireland.

Sage Pay provides credit and debit card payment services for online and mail order businesses. Most recently , Sage Pay released an initiative which provides small and medium-sized enterprises across the UK with the necessary tools to start their business online.
