Canada-based financial services provider Scotiabank has signed an agreement with global non-bank ATM operator Cardtronics.

Under the terms of the contract, Scotiabank will provide its customers with access to a number of 200 ATMs owned and operated by Cardtronics in retail locations throughout Puerto Rico. Initially, Scotiabank will place its brand on approximately 40 ATMs and collaborate with Cardtronics to power an additional 160 ATMs in the Puerto Rican market as the latter installs those locations over time.

Scotiabank activates in over 50 countries includingCanada, the Caribbean and Central America, Mexico, South America and Asia.
