ShopKeep.com closes Series A financing round at National Retail Federation BIG Show Friday 20 January 2012 | 02:00 PM CET

US cloud-based iPad POS system developer ShopKeep.com has closed a Series A financing round at the National Retail Federation BIG Show. The funding is set to shift ShopKeep POS platform to iPads, tablets and cloud computing.

ShopKeep is a cloud-based POS platform that runs in small stores as well as large chains. The software runs on a PC and connects with a cash drawer, credit card swiper and printer, allowing merchants to take and record transactions, keep inventory and print receipts.
