Slovenia: SunGard makes available SaaS-based Valdi market access service to Ljubljana Stock Exchange Tuesday 7 February 2012 | 01:15 PM CET

SunGard, a global software and technology services company, has made available its SaaS-based Valdi market connectivity service to Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE), a Slovenia-based subsidiary of the CEE Stock Exchange Group, to allow exchange members and their direct market access (DMA) clients to access and trade on global exchanges from Valdi workstations or FIX applications.

Under the agreement, SunGard’s Valdi market access service is set to allow Slovenian institutions and remote exchange member firms to access and trade LJSE-listed products, outsourcing the activities involved in procuring and managing the hardware, software and telecommunication links required for market connectivity.

SunGard’s Valdi provides trading services on more than 170 markets worldwide. It supports services including integrated trade and order management systems, execution services, market data, risk management, compliance and clearing and settlement services, providing global connectivity via the SunGard Global Network (SGN).
