TSYS validates Planet Payment's iPAY gateway Friday 12 March 2010 | 10:05 AM CET

Multi-currency and data processor Planet Payment has been granted certification for its iPAY payment gateway on the TSYS Acquiring Solutions (TSYS) processing platform. The certification is set to enable TSYS customers to gain access to iPAY payment gateway features.

The validation allows TSYS acquirer and ISO customers to offer merchants e-commerce services like domestic credit, debit and ACH processing as well as support of the multi-currency pricing service. The multi-currency pricing service is powered by Planet Payment. It allows merchants to convert international browsers into customers when they shop, view pricing, and pay in their home currencies.

Additionally, the iPAY gateway includes a recurring billing engine that enables the management of subscription billing and customer notice. iPAY Tokens, another component, offers protection of the client’s payment account data, by encrypting and assigning a unique token that is stored in Planet Payment's PCI compliant data vault.
