Thailand: Krungthai Bank launches online banking service

Thailand-based financial institution Krungthai Bank has rolled out its online banking service, dubbed KTB netbank.

 

With the newly-launched service, the banks’ customers are expected to be provided with banking transactions services, including opening additional accounts, applying for bank cards, as well as using account services such as deposits, intrabank and interbank transfers. In addition, the KTB netbank service is set to include several other features, such as scheduled transfers, payment for goods, mobile phone top-ups and balance checking.

In the first phase of the rollout of the online baking service, the offering is set to be available for the iPhone and iPad.

Krungthai Bank counts over 14 million depositors.
