3DCart integrates with Stripe for online payment processing

Friday 4 October 2013 09:37 CET | News

E-commerce software provider 3DCart has entered into an agreement with Stripe, a US-based online payment processor.

Under the terms of the deal, Stripe will run in the background allowing 3dcart users to accept credit cards at checkout. Stripe offers an alternative to merchant accounts, gateways, subscriptions managers and other legacy payment systems. 3dcart users will also have access to Stripe’s dashboard, which integrates with accounting and tax software.

3DCart offers several e-commerce services, such as hosting, shopping cart software and web design, as well as e-commerce marketing services.

Stripe enables developers to complete transactions without setting up merchant accounts and dealing with banks. The service is customised for web developers who want to make the application according to their specific requirements. The API allows developers to build their own payment forms avoiding PCI requirements and accepts payments by using minimal coding.
