Acculynk, Cox Business to release a payment service for small businesses

US-based online transaction security services provider Acculynk has partnered Cox Business, a broadband communications and entertainment company, to enable the latter to expand its portfolio of business solutions by adding payment solution PayLeap.

PayLeap merchant services also include PayLeaps Growth Advantage Tools that are designed to help small businesses (SMBs) take advantage of additional sales channels, growth opportunities and time-saving technologies. Additionally, Cox Business customers will have access to internet PIN debit, a PayLeap payment method that allows e-commerce merchants to steer consumers to PIN debit via PaySecure, Acculynks online, graphical PIN pad. This service will be offered to more than 300,000 Cox Business customers later in 2013.

Cox Business provides voice, data and video services for more than 300,000 small and regional businesses, including healthcare providers, K-12 and higher education, financial institutions and federal, state and local government organizations. The organization also serves wireless and wireline telecommunications carriers in the US through its wholesale division.

Acculynk provides a suite of software-only services backed by an authentication and encryption framework that provides security for issuers, EFT networks, merchants and payment processors.
