US e-commerce services provider asknet has added the credit transfer service Boleto Bancário to its international e-commerce shopping cart payment options.

Boleto Bancário’s customers are able make payments without the use of a credit card and sellers are offered an irreversible form of payment. After payment is made, asknet receives confirmation and products can be delivered.

asknets localized e-shop portfolio enables digital publishers of software, games, videos, and music to make online purchases and to add localized services.

asknet e-commerce services are aimed at software and digital media companies allowing them to access international markets via 31 shop languages, 40 billing currencies, 38 payment options and 12 customer service languages. Via asknet, companies are able to expand globally without compromising local customs and preferences with localized carts for countries, including Russia through the payment system WebMoney and China through the online payment services provider Alipay.

Boleto Bancário is accepted by most brands in Brazil and nearly 20 percent of online transactions in the country are performed via its service.
