Under the deal, PayLeap’s payment platform is set to provide online fraud prevention, encryption, tokenization and secure vault storage for Commerce Guys’ online merchants based in the US and Canada. All setups include a virtual terminal for face-to-face or hand-keyed transactions, with support of credit, debit, check/ACH and gift card transactions.
Merchants with website stores and physical store locations can use PayLeap’s transaction management and reporting platform for both online payment and card present transactions.
Prior to Drupal Commerce, Commerce Guys was involved in the development of Ubercart, an e-commerce shopping cart which used older versions of Drupal. Since the release of Drupal Commerce in August 2011, more than 10,000 Drupal Commerce online stores have been launched.
