Garuda partners CyberSource for payment gateway, fraud management services

Indonesia’s national airline Garuda Indonesia has entered an agreement with global payment services provider CyberSource to implement the latter’s suite of payment gateway and fraud management services.

CyberSource’s payment management platform consists of global payment services to support online and multi-channel payments, including the ability to process multiple payment types worldwide. Garuda will also be able to accurately screen for fraud using CyberSource Decision Manager and Performance Monitoring with Guarantees.

With Payment Services, Garuda Indonesia will be able to offer an online payments infrastructure. By leverage CyberSource tokenization services, Garuda will operate with payment tokens instead of raw payment data, thereby allowing them to provide a secure payment process while removing the need for them to handle sensitive payment data. In addition, CyberSource fraud analysts will conduct ongoing monitoring and tuning of system and process performance to provide Garuda with visibility over the fraud management process.

CyberSource provides payment management services which enable enterprise and mid-size merchants to transact sales domestically and globally via internet, mobile, call center and face-to-face sales channels.
