Malaysia: 39% of online consumers use credit cards for payment

39 percent of Malaysian online consumers use credit cards as a common payment method for dining, shopping and entertainment activities, a recent study unveils.

According to a survey released by research company Nielsen, 92 percent of them use cash while 35 percent have declared they use debit cards. The same source also indicates that two out of five Malaysian consumers are investing their money via various channels.

The Nielsen Global Survey of Investment Attitudes is based on a sample of more than 28,000 internet respondents from 56 countries.
