PayPal partners Multicaja to enter the Chilean market

PayPal has entered into an agreement with Multicaja, a Chilean payment network with 50,000 merchants, to help local businesses grow globally through a service called Retiros Multicaja.

The newly introduced service will allow Chilean businesses, especially small and medium sized businesses, which accept international payments via PayPal to withdraw their funds directly into their local bank accounts.

PayPal has declared that the partnership will help Chilean merchants connect with more buyers around the globe.The company has also revealed plans to continue to work with Multicaja to expand opportunities not only for merchants, but also for consumers in Chile.

In recent news, PayPal has revealed plans to start financing the merchants who sell on its online marketplaces, according to online media outlet Reuters.
