Payveris secures USD 5.2 mln in funding round

Online and mobile payments company Payveris has secured USD 5.2 million in a funding round led by investment companies Ironwood Capital Connecticut and Connecticut Innovations.

Other investors include David Dame, managing director of Sorenson Capital and Louis Hernandez, president and CEO of Avid Technology and former chairman and CEO of Open Solutions.

The company has revealed plans to use the capital to support its network of distribution partners and clients and expand its sales and marketing capabilities. Payveris continues to invest in its cloud-based payment platform to offer processing solutions.

Payveris services are available through application program interfaces (APIs) that provide distribution partners and financial institution clients with a library of moveable widgets to control the remote users experience.

Payveris delivers an e-payment option which provides clients with bill payment and money movement capabilities for their online and mobile banking customers.
