Friday 4 May 2012 10:22 CET | News

ShopLocket, a startup e-commerce website, has entered an alliance with US-based online payments processor Stripe, to add the latter as a payment option.

ShopLocket users who don’t currently have a Stripe account will be able to create one within the product creation process. Prior to the Stripe partnership, ShopLocket has only supported PayPal as a payment option.

Since its launch in February 2012, ShopLocket has gathered 1,200 users. According to ShopLocket co-founder Katherine Hague, cited by media outlet betakit.com, although ShopLocket has secured a round of angel funding for the beta launch, the company is currently focused on the product and it plans to seek new round of funding in 2012.
