Global money transfer company MoneyGram has joined ZipZap’s network of payment centers in the US.

As a result, consumers will now be able to make payments for all ZipZap transactions at almost 35,000 MoneyGram agent locations across the US.

According to a recent Consumer Payment Trends Report, 54 percent of adults in the US have mentioned cash as their preferred form of payment.

Founded in 2010, ZipZap enables consumers to use cash to make online purchases, pay bills and top-up e-wallets, prepaid cards and mobile accounts. Through a global network of over 700,000 payment centres, consumers can complete transactions in their neighborhood using local currency. Most recently, ZipZap has joined forces with US-based retail electronic payment services company Softgate Systems to expand its US network of payment centers.
