WePay adds Fromstack to payments platform

Thursday 16 December 2010 11:01 CET | News

WePay, a US-based online payment services provider, has integrated its platform with online form builder Formstack. As part of the agreement, Formstack users will be able to use the WePay application to collect payments without leaving the website.

How it works

In order to start collecting payments via WePay’s portal, Formstack users need to create a form and then select WePay as the third-party integration option under settings. Further on, users can connect to an existing WePay account or create a new one using their email address. Once complete, Formstack users can collect information and payments using the forms they have built.

The funds collected will be deposited into an FDIC-insured account created for the form already built. WePay powers a platform that enables users to collect money online by selling tickets, requesting payment (sending bills) or accepting donations. It also allows users to establish separate accounts for different purposes.

In August 2010, the company has integrated its payments platform with Facebook, allowing Facebook members to collect money online for events, reunions, fundraisers, wedding showers, clubs and fantasy football leagues.
