WorldRemit adds sofortbanking as payment option

UK online money transfer services provider WorldRemit has added sofortbanking as a payment option. As a result, WorldRemit’s customers will be able to pay for money transfers directly from their bank accounts.

Sofortbanking is a payment method used in Germany which allows money transfers between banks of eight European countries including Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Poland, the UK and Italy.

Depending on their country, customers will now gain access to a suite of payment options including debit cards, credit cards, Interac Online, sofortbanking, POLi, iDEAL and Faster Payments.

WorldRemit currently offers online money transfer to over 30 countries. The company provides an online money transfer business enabling customers to send money to family and friends back home using various payment options.
