Xpress Money signs MoU with Money Express

Instant money transfer brand Xpress Money has signed a MoU with Money Express, an African money transfer company, to launch its operations in West & Central Africa in the near future.

As part of the deal, in the initial phase, Xpress Money will extend its Cash to Cash service to customers in both regions using Money Expresss network and remittance infrastructure. Xpress Money will be launching its services in Senegal, Cote d Ivoire, Benin, Togo, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger in West Africa and Cameroon, Tchad, D R Congo and Congo Brazzaville in Central Africa.

Over the last decade, migration from West & Central Africa has been on the rise especially to Europe and other African countries. France, Italy, Spain and the USA are the top migration destinations outside Africa for expats.

Xpress Money is a global brand in instant money transfers, with an agent network spanning over 170,000 locations across more than 150 countries. Xpress Money offers the choice of sending money directly to a bank account along with the option to personally collect cash at an agent location and in some countries the option to deliver money to the receiver’s door-step. Xpress Money is an FSA licensed Authorized Payment Institution (API).
