Yapital teams up with Computop

Yapital, a European provider of cross-channel payment services, has entered into an agreement with global payment service provider Computop.

Under the terms of the partnership, Yapital has integrated Paygate into its payment platform. Computop customers will also be able to incorporate Yapital into their lists of payment options. With the inclusion of Yapital, Computop is opening up additional target groups to its customers. The interfaces for shop solutions such as Demandware, hybris, Magento and Oxid, are also currently being augmented for Yapital.

The collaboration between Yapital and Computop begins with immediate effect in Luxembourg and in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (the DACH region) and will gradually be rolled out in other European markets.

Yapital is a European cashless cross-channel payment solution across all channels including stationary, mobile and online as well as via invoice. Yapital was founded in 2011 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Otto-Group. Yapital is licensed as an electronic money institution in Luxembourg.

Computop is a global payment service provider that offers compliant e-commerce, Point of Sale (PoS), m-commerce and Mail Order and Telephone Order (MOTO), globally. Computop processes of more than USD 7 billion per year, for over 2000 international merchants within industries such as retail, travel and gaming.
