ACET Processing rebrands as Emerging Markets Payments Southern Africa

ACET Processing, a provider of payments solutions for retailers and consumer finance companies in Southern Africa, has changed its name into Emerging Markets Payments Southern Africa becoming part of Emerging Markets Payments Group (EMP Group).

The former ACET business will remain focused on providing payments services including closed-loop store cards, personal loans, prepaid and insurance products for retailers and consumer finance companies, while other parts of the group concentrate on bank card processing and merchant acquiring.

EMP Group, the payment solutions provider in Africa and the Middle East, currently serves 140 banks, 30,000 retailers, governments and consumer finance institutions in 45 countries across the region. EMP Group has operations in South Africa, Egypt, Nigeria and Jordan.
