Cardtronics to expand fee-free ATM access via new Preferred Branding product line

Monday 29 July 2013 11:01 CET | News

US-based retail ATM services provider Cardtronics is set to expand its ATM branding product line with the launch of its new Preferred Branding offering. With the new product suite, banks and credit unions across the US are able to offer their cardholders increased fee-free ATM access.

Preferred Branding opens up a new point of presence to multiple banks and credit unions and creates ATM branding features in new locations.

With Preferred Branding, up to nine additional financial institutions gain the ability to use the same retailer location and the same Cardtronics-owned ATM, including locations that already have a Principal Branding partner, to expand fee-free cash access for their account holders.

Frost Bank and Texas Dow Employees Credit Union (TDECU) are already using the services of both Principal and Preferred Branding by Cardtronics and are offering their customers and members fee-free access to their accounts in retail outlets. Financial institutions across the US have cumulatively branded a total of 19,000 Cardtronics-owned ATMs.

In recent news, Cardtronics has entered an agreement with financial institution Scotiabank.
