Dhasatra, Xpress Money in remittance partnership for Indonesia

UK-based instant money transfer brand Xpress Money has entered an agreement with Indonesian company Dhasatra Indonesian Remittances. Through this partnership, Xpress Money will add a further 4,000 locations to its existing 8,000 locations in Indonesia through the Indonesian post office (PT POS), while also offering account credit services to over 130 banks.

Among the participating banks there are BNI (Bank Negara Indonesia), BRI (Bank Rakyat Indonesia), Bank Mandiri and Bank Permata. Private-owned banks include BCA (Bank Central Asia).

Through this partnership, remittances sent via Dhasatra Indonesian Remittances before 15.00 PM on weekdays and before 12.00 PM on Saturdays are set to be credited within an hour on the same day of the transfer.

Another feature of the partnership is that cash payout through PT POS is set to facilitate money transfers into the rural areas of Indonesia.
