Ingenicos Q1 2011 revenue reaches EUR 204.9 million

French payment services provider Ingenico has seen its total revenue reach EUR 204.9 million, up 18.3 percent based on reported figures, recent financial results have shown.

The total revenue of EUR 204.9 million has included EUR 169.8 million generated by the payment terminals (hardware, servicing and maintenance) and EUR 35.1 million from transaction services.

Results have also revealed that, on a like-for-like basis, Ingenico’s revenue in Q1 2011 has witnessed a 9.2 percent growth compared to Q1 2010. This growth has been determined by the payment terminals (up 6.4 percent) and a 24.8 percent increase in revenue from transactions on all segments. According to the company, like-for-like changes in revenue are calculated based on a constant scope of consolidation and comparable exchange rates.

The company’s revenue on like-for-like basis in Europe-SEPA has registered a 9.9 percent growth in Q1 2011 year-over-year. In Asia-Pacific, financial results have indicated a 98.8 percent growth in revenue on a like-for-like basis in Q1 2011 as compared to Q1 2010. In North America, the company’s revenue on a like-for-like basis has seen a 55.7 percent decrease in Q1 2011 over the same period in 2010.
