Intellitix, Metapay enter strategic alliance

Intellitix, a global provider of radio-frequency identification (RFID) access control and cashless payment systems, has entered a strategic alliance with Meta Payment Systems, a Hungarian provider of prepaid, credit and debit payment services, to boost the provision of cashless services at festivals for summer 2012.

In 2011, Metapay has accounted for 4 million transactions at festivals. For 2012, Intellitix RFID technology is estimated to be used to activate 3 million chips in North America and Europe and Metapay will be underpinning all Intellitix cashless services.
