Intuits Q1 2011 revenue up 12%

US provider of business and financial management services Intuit has seen is Q1 2011 revenue increase by 12 percent, recent financial results have revealed. Intuits’ 2010 fiscal year 2010 ended on 31 October.

According to the results, Intuits’ GAAP Q1 2011 revenue was USD 532 million, a 12 percent increase compared to the same interval in the fiscal year 2010.

Moreover, the financial results have reported earnings per share (EPS) of USD 0.22 in Q1 2011, compared to USD 0.21 in the same interval of 2010.

The financial results have pointed out that Intuit’s small business group, including the QuickBooks, payroll, payments and Websites businesses, has seen its Q1 2011 revenue grow by 12 percent, compared to Q1 2010. Thus, this group financial services’ revenue has increased 1 percent, compared to Q1 2010. In addition, the number of online banking users grew 11 percent, whereas bill pay users grew 19 percent.

The same source has revealed that for fiscal year 2011 the company expects revenue of USD 3.74 billion to USD 3.84 billion, reflecting an overall growth of 8 to 11 percent compared to the previous fiscal.
