Tuesday 20 January 2009 14:33 CET | News

Payments technology company Clear2Pay and Thailand-based IT-related services provider OGA have teamed up to provide Bank of Thailand with access to image cheque clearing technology based on the service-oriented Open Payment Framework.

Clear2Pays services within the Open Payment Framework allow financial institutions to process payments via a centralised payments engine which makes use of a series of business services across all payment types.

Under the terms of the deal, the Open Payment framework is to allow for the conversion of various paper cheque clearing systems into one unified image-based system.

Apart from Open Payment Framework, Clear2Pay also offers Software Development Kit that provides banks with various tools to implement payment services and Bank Payment Hub, which offers customer interaction, order management, and payment execution services.
