Polisan manages loyalty program via Ingenico Turkey solution

Tuesday 29 November 2011 13:42 CET | News

Polisan, a Turkey-based company specializing in chemical industry,  has entered a partnership with global provider of payment services Ingenico to boost its loyalty program via the latter’s solution.

Polisan has transferred its loyalty system previously run manually to an Ingenico solution based on 2.500 POS terminals. The Ingenico system will now be managed automatically, allowing Polisan to follow the purchase habits of its program members and to run the marketing programs. In 2012, all the Polisan dealers will be able to use this system across Turkey.

Loyalty points will be now downloaded to member cards for every corresponding purchased product via a barcode reader connected to an Ingenico EFT930G mobile terminal at the point of sale. The redeemed points will be exchangeable against products from a Polisan gift catalogue.

In recent news, Ingenico has extended its partnership with merchant services provider Nets to roll out the new range of NFC payment terminals, dubbed Telium2, on the Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Finish and Icelandic markets.
