USA Technologies rolls out ePort Wireless Test Kit

Wednesday 7 April 2010 09:19 CET | News

Wireless transactions provider USA Technologies has launched its ePort Wireless Test Kit, a device set to test the wireless signal strength before the deployment of the ePort line of wireless cashless payment devices.

The kit enables operators to survey the appropriateness of market locations where they want to place the ePort Cashless Payments System to their vending machines, kiosks or other self-service retail machines.

The Wireless Test Kit enables owners and operators to determine whether a sufficient wireless signal is available, if additional parts are required to increase the signal, or if any alternative methods of connectivity should be considered.

The ePort Wireless Test Kit kit supports the Deployment Planning Service developed by the USA Technologies and features a Wireless RSSI (Receive Signal Strength Indicator) Meter that can read the available wireless signal strength and measure the quality of the signal.
