ACI Worldwide introduces the ACI Issuer

ACI Worldwide, a US online payment services provider, has launched a new version of the ACI Issuer, a service that handles card issuing requirements. This version provides integration with ACI’s BASE24 and BASE24 payments engines. In combination with ACI Token Manager, the ACI Issuer provides a way to roll out EMV for card-based products and NFC-enabled chips for mobile phones and tablet-based devices.

The main characteristics of the ACI Issuer include support for EMV, NFC, contactless and mobile rollouts, as well as traditional magnetic stripe, support for debit, credit, pre-paid or commercial accounts from a single platform, parameterised configuration for launching new product and interoperability with BASE24 and BASE24.

The ACI Issuer provides back office processing including setting up card product terms and conditions, opening accounts, issue and re-issue of plastics, account management, transaction management and customer service. The ACI Issuer is a component of the ACI card and merchant management solution suite.
