Barclaycard rolls out online account servicing system

Thursday 3 September 2009 08:50 CET | News

UK card processing services company Barclaycard, part of the Barclays Global and Retail Commercial Banking division, has launched a new online account servicing system dubbed mybarclaycard, which allows customers to monitor and manage their accounts online.

The new service allows Barclays cardholders to choose how they want to see their account information displayed on the screen, as well as view their spending by category and visualise their spending on each category over time in order to analyse their spending patterns. It also gives customers the ability to filter and search all transactions to help trace and confirm spending, request a balance transfer, a replacement card, query or dispute a transaction and manage their credit limits online.

Throughout the development of mybarclaycard, over 20,000 Barclaycard customers were invited to preview the site and provide feedback on the bank’s new online service.
