The newly launched capability allows Chip and PIN cardholders to view their PIN from any internet point. The website requires users to be registered and to login using a password. The website is currently available in English and will be offered in French, German, Italian, and Spanish by the end of 2012.
In November 2012, BofA Merrill will be expanding its offering of Chip and PIN to corporate clients in Canada. As a result, Canadian consumers will be able to use the cards at all Canadian Chip enabled merchants, as well as those that only accept magnetic stripe cards, use the cards at unmanned terminals such as transit ticket booths, gas stations and parking garages and will also gain access to new security features.
