Canadian Tire Financial Services unveils MasterCard-branded credit card with contactless technology

Canadian Tire Financial Services, the financial services division of Canadian Tire, has partnered MasterCard to roll out a credit card which integrates contactless technology and offers cash rewards on purchases made at over 29 million merchants worldwide.

Aimed at young professionals, the Canadian Tire Curve MasterCard card with the PayPass feature delivered by German technology provider Giesecke & Devrient, is issued by Canadian Tire Bank, a division of Canadian Tire Financial Services and is available at thecurvecard.com.  Canadian Tire Financial Services manages nearly 5 million Canadian Tire branded credit cards on behalf of Canadian Tire Bank and markets related financial products and services for retail and petroleum customers.
