Chase Card Services, a division of JPMorgan Chase, has entered a partnership with US-based airline company Southwest Airlines to enhance its Ultimate Rewards travel options for cardmembers.

By adding Southwest Airlines to its Ultimate Rewards program, consumers are able to transfer points for travel to 72 cities in 37 states on more than 3,400 flights a day, coast-to-coast. Under the terms of the deal, Chase Sapphire Preferred, Ink Plus and Ink Bold cardmembers will now be able to transfer Ultimate Rewards points to Rapid Rewards accounts - one Ultimate Rewards point is equal to one Rapid Rewards Point. Furthermore, there are no restrictions or limits to the number of points cardmembers can transfer to Rapid Rewards.

Chase Sapphire is a rewards credit card offering premium travel rewards and benefits, a range of redemption choices and customer service.

In recent news, Airline company British Airways has teamed up with Chase Card Services to roll out EMV chip-with-signature technology for its British Airways Visa Card. The new EMV chip-with-signature technology provides protection against criminal attacks because the encrypted chip prevents thieves from copying card details.
