Vincento Payment Solutions, part of CQR Payment Group, has worked with CPI to deliver moneto, the direct to consumer NFC prepaid mobile wallet application for the iPhone. The wallet uses MasterCard PayPass technology, DeviceFidelity’s iCaisse4X case and CPI’s personalized micro technology to enable tap & go iPhone payments at almost 500 thousand merchant locations in 41 countries. The product will be launched in the UK later this year with other European markets to follow.
CPI also produces CQR’s contactless Kalixa card, a combined e-wallet and prepaid card solution, which is aimed at customers who want to shop in an online environment and use the card in physical shops. The Kalixa card has been launched in 2009 and is currently available in the UK, Italy and Germany.
