Cryptomathic joins forces with Oma Emirates to deliver The National Bank of Umm Al Quwains card issuance program

Tuesday 22 December 2009 00:58 CET | News

In order to facilitate the issuance of its card portfolio, UAE-based financial services provider The National Bank of Umm Al Quwain (NBQ) has acquired and installed security solutions provider Cryptomathic’s data preparation system CardInk and OMA Emirates’ personalisation software NanoPerso.

CardInk generates the personalisation information for the issuer’s chip and magnetic stripe payment cards. The data is then transferred to OMA Emirates’ personalisation software NanoPerso, which ensures that data generated by CardInk is personalised for both Mastercard and Visa EMV cards. Cryptomathic provides systems for e-banking, PKI initiatives, card personalisation, ePassport, card issuing and key management via security software and services.
