Druk PNB Bank introduces Maestro-branded debit card

Tuesday 6 December 2011 13:44 CET | News

South Asian bank Druk PNB has introduced the Maestro debit card, which enables cardholders to withdraw money from ATMs in all countries where Maestro, Master and Cirrus cards are accepted.

The newly launched debit card also allows people who travel abroad to withdraw money directly in the country’s local currency. The Maestro debit card is not available for online shopping, but cardholders can use it to pay for their in-store purchases.

Bhutan-based Druk PNB Bank has been founded in 2010 as a joint venture bank of Punjab National Bank, an Indian public sector bank and other local promoters.
