Finland: Luottokunta closes agreement with Logica

Global business and technology company Logica has signed a four-year contract with Finland-based payment service company Luottokunta to manage the latter’s IT operating and infrastructure services. Moreover, according to the agreement closed between the two sides, 16 payment specialists working currently in Luottokunta will be transfered to Logica in October 2010.

Luottokunta’s decision to outsource its IT operating and infrastructure services to Logica has been reached in order to enable the company to remain focused on the expansion of its activities on the card payments market, Heikki Kapanen, CEO of Luottokunta, has commented.

Luottokuntas services include card issuing, the management of over 60 different card schemes, as well as acquiring and payment transaction processing services. The company offers its customers Visa and Business Eurocard payment, interbank, voucher and payment terminal services.
