Gemalto to open card personalisation centre in Indonesia

Dutch digital security company Gemalto is to open a payment card personalisation facility in Indonesia before the end of 2009.

The initiative is part of the companys strategy to offer support for financial institutions in their EMV migration. In order to help financial institutions achieve these plans, Gemalto is to provide services ranging from card manufacturing to fulfillment. Value-added services include inventory management and express card personalisation with same day shipment.
