The new test suites validate if a smart card is compliant to the GlobalPlatform UICC Configuration, UICC Contactless Extension and Mapping Guidelines. The qualification was reached after Comprion’s test suites successfully run against a variety of cards during the last GlobalPlatform TestFest.

In recent news, Comprion has launched a new test system dubbed Spectro TP which has received qualification from GlobalPlatform, a cross industry association which identifies, develops and publishes specifications to facilitate the interoperable deployment and management of multiple embedded applications on chip technology.
