Kuwait: Zain makes available iCard service for iTunes, CashU prepaid purchases

Monday 30 April 2012 09:15 CET | News

Kuwait-based telecommunications company Zain has rolled out iCard Service, a new offering which allows users to buy iTunes and CashU prepaid cards and have the charges billed to their mobile account balance, online media outlet ameinfo.com reports.

Via the iCard service, consumers can purchase iTunes and CashU prepaid cards without the need to use a credit card or K-Net, the national company providing electronic banking services to all the banks in Kuwait.

iCard allows buyers to order iTunes and CashU vouchers via SMS. The payment for the vouchers is billed to the buyer’s mobile account balance. Customers then receive the vouchers number and can proceed to use the vouchers for online shopping on entertainment, travel, gaming and social networking websites.

Since its inception in 2002, CashU provides online payments services to global and regional online merchants across Middle East and North Africa.
