Under the terms of the deal, Aconite will authorize the latter to implement its Affina Enterprise smart product management system to support an increase in its smart card personalisation, issuance and management business.
Luottokunta plans to extend its operation by linking its existing Aconite Affina Enterprise implementation in Finland to multiple sites in other Nordic countries such as Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Currently, Luottokunta is engaged in implementing the service in Finland. The Finnish service is set to go live in November 2010, with the others following in 2011 and 2012.
Luottokuntas services include card issuing, the management of over 60 different card schemes, as well as acquiring and payment transaction processing services. The company offers its customers Visa and Business Eurocard payment, interbank, voucher and payment terminal services.
