Prepaid card processing technology company TxVia has raised USD 15.5 million as a result of a Series C financing round led by venture capital firm Bain Capital Ventures.

The funding comes after TxVia has completed the deployment of its platform-as-a-service (PaaS) delivery model for prepaid card processing and has acquired over five million reloadable and non-reloadable cards on file in both B2B and B2C prepaid applications.

The TxVia platform-as-a-service delivery model allows bank issuers and program managers to create customised and fully segregated prepaid card processing platforms. The TxVia customer offering includes hosting and platform services, managed services, switch services and professional services.
