Under the agreement, easycash Loyalty Solutions processes card transactions while easycash GmbH enables network operations, allowing Siemens guests or members of staff to use contactless functions to pay for their meals at the restaurants tills with their prepaid cards. Restaurants guests are set to be able to use terminals to top up their cards.
The new prepaid service for the Siemens restaurants makes use of the Siemens staff cards, which have a contactless chip, or guest cards. The guest cards can be obtained from the top-up and card machines upon payment of a deposit. These machines are also used to top up the cards with prepaid amounts using cash, debit card or credit card payments. The cards can then be used to make contactless payments at the restaurant tills.
In December 2011, Ingenico renewed the partnership between the Douglas perfumeries and its affiliate easycash Loyalty Solutions.
